When people ask her the reason she does the work she does, they are often shocked to hear her say "my ex-husband." Typically, people don't anticipate a divorce to be the motivation for the work they do; however, having been through a difficult divorce that left her with only dollars to her name, it opened her eyes to the help she can truly give people. It's this passion to help that drives her every day to ensure everyone she works with is in a much better financial position than they were when they met.
Life changes and events can cause a lot of turmoil in life, both personally and financially. Knowing that she has been through this herself and come out on the other side gives Randi perspective to help other people who don't know where to turn or what steps to take next.
Randi believes everyone deserves personalized guidance and advice, no matter what their financial situation is, and she prides herself on working with many different individuals in very different circumstances. Nothing gives her more joy than seeing people the works with achieve their financial goals and dreams and knowing she was a part of it.
Originally from Mt. Shasta, CA, Randi moved to the Bay Area in 2011. She attended California State University Sacramento and graduated in 2007 with two bachelor's degrees in business marketing and sociology. She earned her MBA in finance from Walden University in 2009.
After starting her career with Edward Jones in 2008, she became passionate about becoming an advocate for her clients. It was this passion that led her to achieve her Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation in 2022. This designation is one of the most respected in the financial services industry, with charterholders being held to the highest ethical and fiduciary standard.
When not spending time with clients, you will find Randi with a good book, hiking multiple Bay Area trails or cheering on the Oakland A's!
