As the first college graduate of a multi-generational, bay area family, James’ education and work ethic propelled him into corporate finance roles for some of the bay area's largest and most successful companies. It was there that he witnessed how analysis, planning and a long-term perspective can significantly impact financial success. It was also during this period when he began to seriously examine the principles that propel individuals and families toward long-term wealth. Many factors such as education, planning and a long-term perspective can significantly impact personal financial success.
In 2016, James transitioned from corporate financial management to personal wealth management, with a purpose to positively impact individuals’ and families’ long-term financial health and wellbeing, now and for future generations.
The distinct skill set James uses to support his corporate goals against the backdrop of a multi-generational perspective leads him to leverage his experience to impact individuals, families, and their financial goals in the dynamic Bay Area economy. His clients include business owners and successful leaders, both men and women in traditional and non-traditional families. He especially appreciates the diversity of his client base, ranging from entrepreneur talented employees at technology firms, individuals nearing retirement, widows and widowers and couples experiencing divorce.
James discovered that the best way to leverage his finance experience from well over a decade is to invest time upfront getting to know clients. He believes a shared understanding of clients’ unique and deeply personal long-term goals is the best path towards long term success. His team's comprehensive process enables them to address five key areas: making smart financial decisions, mitigating taxes, caring for heirs, ensuring assets and optimizing charitable giving. They partner with your network of CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals to ensure they holistically serve your objectives. James is proud to continue his multi-generational local presence and currently lives in Danville with his wife, Kate who is a strong leader in the bay area technology community, transforming the world. He treasures his small business community and has served on the board of the Danville and San Ramon Chambers of Commerce. On days off, you may find him working with the Alzheimer's Association, on the golf course and or recharging through various social events.
